In some cases, the call server, CRM and CRM database are located at the client location for data security reasons and the application and its management is owned and maintained by the hosted service provider. In such cases, the public IP is used to connect the application and the users along with the CRM traffic.
In a hybrid setup, the contact number database can reside with the client or it can be integrated with the hosted architecture as well. The client can also avail CRM services from the hosted service provider. Thus in hybrid-setup, the client can create his system architecture as per infrastructure and avail customized hosted services.
